Hydrovac to Hydroboost conversion

Unread postby jachord on Thu Feb 16, 2017 10:46 am

I have already begun researching and ordering parts for this conversion.

So far I have ordered the following.
Master cylinder 4031345
Hydroboost 529393 $153.99 with $39 core at Oreilly with lifetime warranty.
Pump to Booster hose EDELMANN 91465
Booster to Steering Hose EDELMANN 91463

Once I get the parts in I will document the installation and include any modifications if necessary on this thread. All other parts should remain unmodified with the exception of the removal of the hydrovacs and related plumbing.

Great start... Looking forward to your progress, postings and successes,,,
After the time it took, the cost and results,,,I STILL don't trust my 1974 Brakes....
PS: Being positively greedy, maybe a u-tube of the conversion process
or a low cost "how I done it" dvd?
This is a major, IMO, project for 1974 and older Travco's...

I don't know about a video. I hate looking for informative videos on the internet. A 30 min video for one minute of relevant data is idiotic. Ill think about it though
